Agave geminifloraAgave, Twin-flowered |
 |
One of the most popular agaves, it rapidly forms a 3-4 foot symmetrical rosette of narrow, dark green leaves. The smooth leaves have a terminal spine, and the margins are often edged with fine white fibers. Can grow in both sun and shade. As with most agaves, this plant blooms once, and then dies. At the end of its life cycle, about 10 years, it will send up a spectacular 15-18 foot tall flower spike!
