Malva alcea 'Fastigiata'

Mallow

 One tough perennial! Masses of soft pink, bowl shaped flowers are borne on long-blooming spikes from early to late summer. This variety has ascending branches with a neater outline than the species. Heat and drought are not a problem for Malva. Pinch back the tips of this plant when it reaches 1 foot and you won't need to stake.
