Giant Reed

 Spectacularly beautiful, this tall variegated reed flowers in late summer or fall. Leaves are green with a bright white margin and are 3'' wide! Fills in large areas by spreading underground but less vigorously than the species. From a distance looks like white corn plants. Will tolerate drought and can grow in boggy conditions. No apparent pest & disease problems.
