Cyathea cooperi 'Brentwood' Australian Tree Fern |
 |
Long, Lacy fronds are bright green and tend to be very fast growing. The trunk is slender, usually about 3 - 6'' thick and in tropical conditions will grow 30' high. An excellent and extremely popular as a container plant which will also control it's growth and can be winterized inside. Not recommended for colder areas and can die when exposed to the mid 20's. See Dicksonia antarctica for colder zones. Both are fantastic living fossils. As the price reflects, these are young plants with no trunk yet. Syn. Shaeropteris cooperi
