Digitalis ambigua 'Carillion Temple Bells' Foxglove, Dwarf |
Extra dwarf plants with spikes of yellow tubular flowers marked with brown speckles. Numerous secondary flower spikes extend the bloom time well into summer if plants are deadheaded. When not in bloom, enjoy the large rosettes of fuzzy, green leaves, (which deer DON'T like) Non-aggressive, but will politely self-seed under favorable conditions. One of the toughest and most reliable of the foxgloves, this is a long-lived perennial, not a biennial. Hummers love this one!

Digitalis 'Goldcrest' Foxglove |
This hybrid is a relatively short, yellow flowering, sterile variety that blooms continuously from midsummer into early fall. Very strong, upright stems carry racemes of yellow-peach flowers with slight reddish brown markings. The dark green, semi-evergreen leaves are smooth and lance-shaped rather than fuzzy and wide like those of the D. purpurea hybrids. The plants are well-branched, ensuring a succession of blossoms over a long period.
