Black Prince' is one of the darkest of the Echeverias. Newest leaves greenish, but then turn a dark purple nearing black when in full sun. Clusters of scarlet flowers on multiple stems are quite pretty. Rosettes get quite large, several inches across and will tolerate a wide range of conditions including severe frosts. Plenty of water in spring and summer, little or none in winter.

Echeveria
One of the most beautiful succulents. Sea-foam colored leaves with pink margins on this very attractive large rosette. In late spring into mid-summer appear the heavy upright stalks bearing coral pink flowers that are orange inside with red nectaries. This is one of the largest of the Echeveria, forming 9 inch tall by 18 inch rosettes of wide spade shape blue green leaves. A must-have!

Interesting and unusual leaf form of thick, curved, powder gray leaves, not just the common rosette. The tall spikes of showy coral to yellow flowers tipped with red in the summer are very pretty and long lasting. Be careful of overwatering, fast grower.
