Egret Flower

 Exotic, fringed birds in flight! Orchid-like flowers of gleaming white, blooming in May-June. Although they are hardy, protect in colder northern areas. They like a compost based on Sphagnum moss (living is best) with some sand added or coarse sand with some peat mixed in. The compost should be wet but must be VERY free-draining. Get that right and this a very easy to grow plant.
