Wow! As named, the foliage is completely golden and has a metallic, almost luminous quality. Bright yellow foliage glows in the shade garden and lends fabulous texture. Particularly beautiful when combined with dark foliaged neighbors, grown near water features and flowing from containers. Habit is somewhat more upright and spiky than other forest grasses. We have found it to be quick to establish and wonderfully vigorous. (This is my favorite Hak.)
