 One of the coolest little ground covers. Dark green, slightly glossy, 1'' cordate leaves are somewhat evergreen. In the early to mid Spring, lavender 1'' trumpet like flowers persist over a long period. One of its greatest merits is that it will practically grow in the dark. This makes it especially useful in those foreboding dark corners of the garden where you haven't been able to sustain any plant life.
