Gold Dust’ has fragrant, bright green and gold evergreen leaves that hold their color all year. ‘Gold Dust’ is a solid performer with no burning in the sun or issues with disease. It is very heat tolerant and survived 46° C temperatures in a greenhouse without drooping. With its stable coloration, upright branching and vigorous growth habits, ‘Gold Dust’ makes for a good landscape perennial as an ornamental and also as a culinary herb for the kitchen or barbecue! Blue flowers appear in spring. Extremely heat tolerant, it makes an excellent ornamental shrub.
