Clinging by root-like holdfasts, 'Moonlight' Japanese hydrangea is splendid growing on fences or brick wall. Silver, steel-blue overlaid, heart shaped leaves are deep green veined. Large, lacy white bracted florets in summer give an additional appeal. It can also be used on a large scale basis as a ground cover for shade. It's a non aggressive, easy to control vine.
