Yucca rostrata
Beaked Blue Yucca
One of the most hardy of the trunk-forming Yuccas and one of the most garden-worthy as well. The stunning, powder-blue sword-like leaves make it one of the most attractive and effective Southwest plants available. A slow grower, expect about a 4 foot trunk in 10 years and branching will occur with age. Creamy white flowers on great spikes tower over the spectacular foliage. The fruit resembles the beak of a bird. Texas native.

Reference Only Yucca glauca
Yucca
Beautiful tall stalks of white flowers. This American prairie native is one of the hardiest species of Yucca and is a trunk less or short-trunked species that can grow to about 3' tall by 6' wide. Leaves are stiff, narrow, sword like and evergreen. This is perhaps the most adaptable yucca, since it can withstand full sun and reflected heat, and can survive extremely cold winters. Only a very wet winter will damage the plant.
