A deciduous shrub or small tree which is most noted for its shrubby growth habit. Its limbs twist, turn, zigzag and kink. Even the leaves have a curled nature. A chance seedling found in New Zealand. Very nice container specimen and then will only reach only 4-5 feet high. Particularly attractive in winter with its unusually shaped bare limbs.
