These golden-yellow 1 1/2 flowers with brown/green centers have a delicious chocolate fragrance, especially in the morning. A Southwestern U.S. native, it is very hardy and drought tolerant . Plant in groups along a walkway or patio or in wildflower gardens where its flowers will attract butterflies, beneficial insects, and chocolate lovers! Its seed heads are attractive in dried arrangements. Also called Chocolate Daisy and Greeneyes (because centers are green when flowers temporarily droop in afternoon heat.)
