A beautiful carefree perennial. 'Ballerina' puts on a show of semi-double, 2-3 inch wide, golden yellow flowers all summer long. The flowers are shaped like a ballerina's tutu and this is, perhaps, how it got its name. They make great cut flowers due to their strong stems. Heliopsis is an excellent tall perennial for the back of the flower border. It has a bushy, well-branched form and glossy, deep green, triangular leaves. It's a real workhorse in the garden!
