Visits to the farm are for
pick-up orders only and must be scheduled in advance...
so feel free to place a Pick-up order and make the beautiful drive up
Green Valley Road to visit the farm!
We want to be sure you get the plants you’re
interested in, so it's really necessary that you place a ‘Pickup
Order’ on the website for a weekday pick up at least two days in
advance and choose the following options in the shopping cart;
Payment Option: ‘Pick-Up Orders - Pay when picking up’
Shipping Option: ‘Pickup at Nursery - No Shipping’
Please be sure to put your ARRIVAL DATE in the comments box.
Visits for Pick-up orders are typically weekdays only but the days and
hours can vary a great deal throughout the year.

We'll have it ready for you and you can choose what you want to buy when
you get here.
We DO NOT pre-charge pick-up orders even if
you gave payment info, so your order will not be paid for when you come.
Please be aware that the plants on this website ARE NOT accessible to
pick-up customers. Most are in employee-only areas so please include
anything you are interested in on your pick-up order.
The folks in the nursery are unable to go get
plants for you while you wait, as some of the greenhouses are quite
remote.
The driving directions below are more accurate than some of the online
services like MapQuest.
Please Note: The plants pulled for pick-up are the same size
plants as the ones we ship. This is a Mail Order Nursery. The 'Plant
Sizes' page has photos & details.

DRIVING
DIRECTIONS
FROM
SEATTLE OR TACOMA:
Take I-5 to Hwy 18 East in Federal Way (Exit 142A).
At mile 6 on Hwy 18, exit on the Auburn/Black Diamond Rd
Turn right for about 50 yards
Then right again onto SE Green Valley Rd.
Enjoy the beautiful drive for 10.4 miles along this picturesque country
road passing Flaming Geyser Park and going up the hill.
When you see the Cadman sign on your right, Big Dipper Farm will be on
your left - just before reaching SR 169 (Black Diamond-Enumclaw Hwy).
Drive around the Closed gate and give your horn a toot to let staff know
you’re here.
FROM BELLEVUE/EASTSIDE:
Take I-405 to SR 169 (Renton-Maple Valley Hwy).
Go through Maple Valley and Black Diamond.
Two miles south of Black Diamond, turn right on SE Green Valley Rd.
Big Dipper Farm is behind the pond, the first driveway on the right.
Drive around the Closed gate and give your horn a toot to let staff know
you’re here.
